• Responsibilities

1) [Hanwha Life]: Alternative Investment

- Alternative Investment Process

• Support the alternative investment process from deal sourcing to investment decision-making
• Assist with opportunity evaluation, investment reviews, and negotiation support

- Market Intelligence & Strategy

• Conduct domestic and global market research to support alternative investment strategies
• Participate in meetings, conferences, and reporting related to alternative investments

2) [Hanwha General Insurance]: Global Investment

- Global Investment & Asset Allocation

• Support investment strategy and asset allocation through analysis of global financial markets
• Gain exposure to the insurance asset management investment process

- Alternative Investment Review

• Support alternative investment strategy development, product review, and due diligence
• Assist with mock investment committees and investment decision-making processes

3) [Hanwha Asset Management]: Credit

- Investment Analysis & Execution

• Build financial models and analyze financial statements to support investment evaluation
• Support deal screening, structuring, and preparation of investment memoranda and IC materials

- Due Diligence & Transaction Support

• Assist with financial and commercial due diligence, including data room and advisor coordination
• Coordinate with co-investors and third-party advisors to support transaction execution and timelines

- Portfolio & Strategy Support

• Support portfolio monitoring across growth, infrastructure, and opportunistic investment strategies

4) [Hanwha Asset Management]: VC

- VC Investment Analysis

• Research and assess domestic and global VC investment opportunities
• Monitor industry trends and support sourcing and evaluation of new deals

- Transaction & Modeling Support

• Build and maintain financial models to support investment analysis
• Assist across the transaction lifecycle, including due diligence, structuring, and investment memoranda

5) [Hanwha Investment&Securities]: Alternative Investment

- Alternative Investment & Acquisition Finance

• Support alternative investment and acquisition finance processes from deal sourcing to evaluation
• Assist with investment reviews, approval materials, and asset monitoring

- Market Intelligence & Research

• Conduct market research to support alternative investment strategies
• Prepare market intelligence reports and participate in meetings with asset managers and affiliates

6) [Hanwha Investment&Securities]: VC

- Fund Formation & Investment Review

• Support new fund formation processes, including preparation of fund and LP materials
• Assist with VC investment review processes and preparation of investment review reports

- VC Market Intelligence

• Conduct market research to support portfolio value creation and fund performance
• Monitor portfolio companies and prepare market intelligence reports

• Required/Preferred Qualifications

[Hanwha Life]: Alternative Investment

- Language requirements : Fluent in Korean and English (written and spoken)

- Background in Economics, Business, Finance, Biology, or Engineering preferred

- Strong written communication skills

- Financial certifications or progress toward professional qualifications preferred

- Background in Economics, Business, Finance, Biology, or Engineering preferred

- Strong analytical skills in financial statement analysis; experience preparing investment materials

(teasers, pitches, investment memos)

- Solid understanding of corporate credit; private credit knowledge a plus

- Self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

- Language requirements : Fluent in Korean and English (written and spoken)

- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and research skills

- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail

- Language requirements : Fluent in Korean and English (written and spoken)

- Major in Economics, Business, or Finance preferred

- Strong written communication skills

- Financial certifications or progress toward professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CAIA)
